An example of a real location is Chicago, IL.
In it, the user could "discover" real locations, such as sushi restaurants in Chicago. The user may want to discover electronic night clubs in Austin, TX. (Technically, Austin, TX is a location and each club is a Location and a Marker; Electronic Music is a tag and Night Club is a tag. Then looking at the most popular techno clubs in Austin is only a matter of structuring the search, and such a search page would be created and maintained by the platform's admins. This is exactly the core functionality of Yelp.)
An example of an imaginary location is a sci-fi novel, the Schizmatrix
...written by William Gibson and illustrated by... one of our Creative Teams! (I always wanted to do that, it's one of my favorite books, and I will pay hard money to a talented illustrator to make comics out of some scenes and chapters in the book.) The story of Schizmatrix takes place in the solar system, which makes it convenient to make planets and asteroids and other celestial bodies as locations. Of course, space stations and bases are locations within those. A location can be a a chapter, perhaps with a single Report ( = the Chapter) in it. This would give the reader a new way of reading the novel. Especially if fan fiction and fan art are allowed: how do artists who are fans of this author and book, see that sci-fi world? This would also work well for writers who haven't finished writing their novel, and release it chapter-by-chapter. Some chapters or extras can be marked premium, requiring a payment to access. (Methinks that such payments should be $0.51-$2 at first.)
Another location can be a studio of a webcam model
Some content in such a studio would be free, some premium and restricted. (We don't why away from adult content - more on that later.) This is similar to Patreon and Onlyfans models (see Competition & Inspiration section).
